I’ve been making art since sixth grade, when doodling in the margins of my notebooks quietly turned into something I never stopped doing. I was born and raised in New Mexico and moved to Missouri in 2019 to continue my education, and somewhere along the way Missouri started to feel like home.

A lot of what I do in life revolves around caring for others. I work as a family advocate in foster care, and I spend plenty of time fostering dogs locally too, so my house is usually full of a few extra paws and a little bit of chaos. I’m deeply community-driven and happiest when the things I’m doing, whether it’s my work or my art, connect back to people and the place around me.

Nature and animals inspire a lot of what I create. I spend a lot of time outside noticing colors, textures, and small details that most people probably walk right past. Those little moments tend to find their way into my work.
